Children might find it challenging to cope up with the academic structure at school and mess up their performance. However, parents can play a vital role in helping them stay organised. Follow these hacks to ensure your child has a cohesive approach after high school admission

Create a routine

Children can find following a routine challenging initially. However, if parents develop an efficient routine at home, children can cope with it both at home and in school. Remember, the routine must have a set time for dinner, breakfast, homework, and other activities. Having a routine can help your child make time for various activities; it also helps them complete each task efficiently and in an organised way. Routines can be helpful for children seeking high-school admission as they can help them organise themselves.

Make a checklist

Create a weekly checklist for your child. The list must include their daily or weekly targets on studies, revision, and other activities. Ensure your child ticks off every action on the checklist regularly to ensure they have a routine way of functioning. Moreover, a checklist can help them prepare for short-term and long-term goals accordingly.

Help them utilise their free time

Free time does not imply watching television shows or playing mobile games. Instead, children must learn to make the most of their free time. For instance, they can exercise, interact with family members, read story books, etc. For this reason, many CBSE school fees might include several extracurricular activities to help children make proper use of their free periods and breaks.
